As seen on 9to5mac, Apple has added an iTunes Festival channel to the Apple TV so that users can live stream concerts. The Apple TV application highlights the different concerts that will take place at the festival, as well as some notable artist. These artist include Kendrick Lamar, Willie Nelson, Coldplay, Soundgarden, Imagine Gardens, Keith Urban, and Pitbull. This will be Apples first iTunes Festival here in the United States.
Samsung has just announced they have entered the music streaming market with their Galaxy exclusive app Milk. Milk Music is a radio service much like Pandora and iTunes Radio. What makes this app really cool is that it is ad-free and there isn’t a subscription fee. The app limits you to six skips every hour but according to Samsung you will not here any ads.
The primary feature to Milk is a large dial that list nine genres of your choice. The dial lets you fine-tune your station to include new music, popular music or music you have favorited in the past.
