Leaked press images of Samsung’s ATIV SE

As seen on engadget, Samsung’s up and coming Windows 8.1 smartphone passed through the FCC last month. Now we get a look at what the actual device looks like. The above image shows a Windows powered ATIV SE. The phone shares the same look as the Galaxy handsets with the rounded corners and texture elements. The device is said to have a 5-inch, 1080p display and LTE capability. The phone will arrive this year along with the release of Windows 8. OS.

Apple Stores celebrate holidays with magical windows

As seen on 9to5mac, Apple stores around the world will be getting a touch of magic. Apple will be celebrating this holiday season with a front Apple Store window display that has been described by several Apple store retail employees as spectacular. A photo of the display was received from a source by 9to5mac. The front window display highlights both the iPad Air and iPhone 5c. It’s made up of several LED lights shaped into snow flakes. Its a fascinating and very unique design.

The displays will be going up through out the world later this week and will stay up until early January.

HP Spectre ONE All-In-One PC

Just recently HP released their  Spectre ONE ($1299), an All-In-One (AIO) desktop computer that is only 11.5mm thick at its thinnest point. The goal was to make it look great. In my book it looks like an iMac.

In addition to looking really awesome, the HP Spectre ONE also has support for NFC, and HP intends to sell programmable NFC tags that can be used to pre-program actions (different log-ins for example), or to transfer files to/from mobiles devices also equipped with NFC. In terms of ports, the HP SpectreONE comes with four USB, one SD, one Ethernet, one HDMI and one 3.5mm port (+ Kensington anti-theft lock).
