Chromebook Pixel

Some may say that the Chromebook Pixel is the rival to the Macbook Pro’s Retina display. With its crystal clear screen and touch screen capabilities, it just may be. Slightly comparable to Apples 13 inch 2,560×1,600 resolution, Googles Chromebook Pixel  2,560×1,700. Like I said, a slight difference.

But enough with all the talk about screen resolution, check out the tech specs on this bad boy.

The Chromebook Pixel has an Intel Core i5 processor running at 1.8 GHz, with integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000. It comes with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and either 32 GB (Wi-Fi model) or 64 GB (LTE model) of solid state storage. It features a 12.85-inch, touchscreen, 2560 x 1700 display with a pixel density of 239 PPI; a backlit full-size keyboard; a glass-etched touchpad; and a 720p HD camera.

I’ve also found a video showcasing the beauty and elegance of this browser based laptop.

Google has really put something good together, the only downfall to this is that the price is way to ridiculous. For the 32gb it is priced at $1,299.00, for the higher gig model that is 64gb, it is priced at $1,499.00. Crazy for a laptop that is based only on the internet.

iPhone 5 is HERE!

Today was an amazing day because at 1pm est. Apple unrelieved the iPhone 5.  The iPhone 5 rocks a taller, 4-inch 1136 x 640 resolution Retina display, supports 4G LTE networks, the new, faster dual-core A6 processor with more graphics power, and a faster, smaller camera that features better low-light performance. The new phone will also ship with an upgraded Siri virtual assistant, a new 9-pin Thunderbolt-lite connector port called “Lightning,” and more. The iPhone 5 will also come pre-loaded with iOS 6, and all of the new features coming to it.

Pricing starts at $199, with the 32GB and 64GB models at $299 and $399

The new thing about this phone is that it is available on tons of networks such as Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and Sprint in the United States (T-Mobile supports unlocked iPhones) and Bell, Rogers, Telus, Fido, Virgin Mobile, and Koodo in Canada.

Pre-orders this Friday, for delivery on September 21st.

This awesome new machinery comes with a sturdy, integrated kickstand and a SmartCover-esque cover, that features a fully functioning keyboard, with a trackpad. It connects with a “single magnetic click”. Tight right?

“I can touch type on this as fast as I can type on any keyboard.” said Microsoft’s Michael Angiulo. The Touch Cover comes in five colors – black, red, blue, and pink.

The surface also comes with two cameras called “LifeCams” The rear-facing camera is angled so when positioned on a kickstand, it can still record meetings or any other event thats going on.

To top everything off, being that this is a full-on PC it can run true PC games.

Microsoft has stated the tablet-PC hybrids will be priced competitively, but no mention of price or release date was mentioned. So I guess will just be waiting to see what they got to unveil about it next!
