Leak: iPhone 6 component photo

As seen on BGR, we have found pictures of what looks to be iPhone 6 prototypes. The photos first appeared appeared on Chinese forum WeiPhone, but we are not clear on where these photos originated. The pictures show the digitizer of an iPhone 4S, iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 side by side, with the larger one being the iPhone 6. The photo suggest the new iPhone 6 will be about the same size as the iPhone 5, just with a bigger display.

The iPro, a Mix between a Mac Pro and iMac

This probably has to be the craziest things I have ever seen in the history of craziest mash-ups ever. This is the iPro, a mix of a Mac Pro and an iMac. The design concept was created by  Swiss designer Kurt Merki Jr. The iPro sports a 35 inch display with a integrated sound bar.

Here’s words from Merki,

Ever since I was a kid, I have always been interested in Macintosh/Apple products and their way of thinking different. I remember at school we had “touch typing” lessons on a Macintosh Classic. Instead of using the touchtyping software I could not help myself exploring the rest of th Macintosh, trying out all other programs and functions. I guess that is way I can still not touch type.

After seeing the 30th Anniversary of Apple, it inspired me to create a computer of my own. I imagined an “all in one” workstation which one would want to work with on a daily basis with endless power and a huge display. The Macintosh Classic was the starting point and thereafter it evolved into the iPro.

What’s your opinion on this crazy design? Do you think this is to far fetched or a reality that we may see soon from Apple.

Otterbox announces new ‘Symmetry’ cases

At CES, phone case maker Otterbox has unveiled a new line of iPhone cases called ‘Symmetry’.  According to Otterbox, these cases are a “fusion of protection and style”.

These new protective cases are really thin and combine two materials into one single piece. The case has a raised edge on the front to protect the touch screen as well as synthetic rubber on the back to absorb shock to defend against drops.

Otterbox is offering a wide range of colors and styles for these new line of cases. The cases retail price will start at $39.95 for solid color versions and $44.95 for more elaborate graphic designs.

Otterbox’s new Symmetry line will become available this spring.

Instagram Introduces Photo and Video Sharing

During a press event held in New York,  Instagram announced a new sharing feature called Instagram Direct. This will allow users to share images and videos to other users privately. I just received the update and I must say, I am pretty impressed with this new feature.

In this very awesome video that I found on 9to5mac, Instagram showcase’s its new feature and how simple you can send direct photo or video privately to anyone you please.
