The 2012 Summer of Arcade promotion kicks off with Robomodo’s new $15 skateboarding game Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD. Xbox Live director of programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb today announced prices and release dates for 2012’s Summer of Arcade promotion, which will kick off on July 18 with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD for 1,200 MS points ($15).

Confirmed characters for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD include familiar favorites like Tony Hawk himself, Rodney Mullen, Andrew Reynolds, and Eric Koston, as well as newcomers like Chris Cole, Nyjah Huston, and Hawk’s son, Riley Hawk.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, the highest-profile of the Summer of Arcade titles, is a Tony Hawk series reboot, bringing back familiar tracks from Pro Skater and Pro Skater 2. Keep up to date with the game by staying tuned to Muffin Cap.

After battling the greats like Stone Cold Steve Austin and DX, Mike Tyson returns 15 years later in THQ’s  WWE ’13.

Today the publisher announced that Tyson will be added to the game’s roster as an exclusive, playable pre-order bonus in the United States and Canada. Tyson will be available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.WWE ’13 is scheduled to be released on October 30. Found today on IGN.com, member NKilburne has informed IGN that both Walmart and Amazon have posted new information about the upcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified.


Before we get carried away, the price Both Amazon and Walmart have Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified listed as costing $49.96, officially making it the most expensive game on the platform. Unfortunately, its release date is marked as December 31, 2012.


Also included on both sites is a brief description: “Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.”

Multiplayer has been confirmed and is said to be the most important aspect of Declassified – its multiplayer functionality – will indeed be in the game.
