Google, LG working on smartwatch

As seen on 9to5Google, Google will be announcing a smart watch next month manufactured by LG whom they have had successful partnerships with the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 smartphone. Google will be behind the design software and hardware of the product.

With Google announcing the product in the month of March, it will not be released until June at Google’s I/O Developer Conference.  The smart watch’s operating system will revolve around Google Now’s voice assistant and search feature. This will have a major role with how users interact with the watch.

Each year Google proves that its more then a search company but a tech power house.

Google Wallet debit card

Yep, its finally here.

After months of rumors and speculations, the Google Wallet debit card is officially here. The prepaid debit card lets Google Wallet users make payments with their Wallet balance at any ATM, bank, or any business that accepts MasterCard Debit.

Starting today you can request your own card and Google says that it should arrive in 10 to 12 business days. Shipping is free and there aren’t any additional fees to get started with the card. The Google Wallet Card can be used for purchases both online and in physical stores. Its practically just like any other debit card that you currently hold. Google has set a maximum $5,000 per day spending limit on the card.

It was rumored that the card would arrive earlier this year but later reports said that the project was put on hold. I personally think the only reason why they are releasing it is because of it’s competitor, Coin. I’ve already ordered mine and will give you the full detailed experience with my use with the card.

Until next time.

Google Debuts Nexus 5 Hero

After months of rumors and speculations, the Nexus 5 has finally been revealed! It wasn’t too much of surprise being that we’ve seen pictures all over the internet but I’m pretty sure than any Android fan will agree that it was worth the wait. Even me, A guy who is an Apple sheep personally thinks that this is an AWESOME phone!

The latest pure Google phone features a 4.95-inch full HD 1080p display, a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, an 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, either 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. It also sports Google’s new Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and  includes a 4G LTE radio.

The price for this new toy is amazingly cheap.  Google’s new hero phone starts at just $349 for the 16GB model without a service contract.

From the looks of it, this phone will not disappoint and I cannot wait to get my hands on one and play with it. Google seems to never disappoint with its latest products. I have high hopes for this bad boy.
